Using ipad pro for 12 hours

Sir

I need to use my ipad pro 2018 for 8 to 12 hours daily for taking handwritten notes on Notability.

You know that Notability depletes the battery.

I only manage to work for 2 hours before having to recharge for another 2 hours.

Is there a way you can engineer the next iPad pro to be able to bypass the fully charged battery by manually switching to non battery charging while in use.

That is I will be able to use the ipad for 12 hours by having the device directly connected to electric mains without the battery being charged.

Please give us this option since if I were to use the ipad while charging, this would deplete the battery lifetime.

You can leave your iPad connected to mains-power for extended periods without causing damage to the battery.

The current charging strategy for iPad Pro models, when connected to power for extended periods, is to stop short of charging to 100% capacity. In practice, you will likely observe the battery being charged to only 95% (-ish) of maximum. When you return to a “normal” charge/discharge regime, your battery charging will return to normal 100% charging.

As such, by design, you will not harm the battery or significantly shorten its lifespan by leaving your iPad connected to external power for extended periods. In fact, not heavily cycling the battery will extend the working life of your iPad.
