Airpods Pro wireless charge not working

Is anybody else having an issue with the Airpods Pro not charging wirelessly? When I place it on my wireless charging pad (Samsung, Choetech, and Yootech brands) they all charge it for a few minutes, but then the Airpods Pro stop taking the charge. I've gone through two brand new pairs of Airpods Pro and neither of them work.

I'm pretty sure this is related, but when I open up the case and the pop-up window of the Airpods Pro shows up on the iPhone, the icons of the Airpods buds will flicker between showing a normal battery status and then a red exclamation mark.

I've reset both sets of Airpods Pro. At the time both were on the most current firmware (584, 588).

As I've stated, I've gone through two brand new pairs (both bought from the an Apple Store one week apart) and both show these issues. I'm going to return this pair and just wait till all the bugs are sorted out.

My anker powerwave 7.5 both stand and pad can only charge

intermittently. I asked their customer service, they said it's not

compatible with airpods pro due to overheating issues. Once the airpods

pro is overheating the charge will stop, and it will resume once it

cools down. SO my current fix is just leave it as it is, it will be

fully charged in few hours anyway. I guess only apple can fix this

overheating problem. The cut off temperature of airpods pro is lower

than that of iphone, the iphone still holds the charge even its body is

quite hot.

How long before Apple actually addresses this though? This is nuts that more people are not finding the same problem. But again I think most people are just plugging in to charge.

I found that mine is charging wirelessly after the most recent firmware update (2C54). I am no longer having the wireless charging not working.

It looks like 2C54 has made a change. I will check again and write here if the improvement is permanent.

You checked the APP will charge for more than 10 min? I would highly suggest checking with a pair that is at 50% or less.

I also have the issue. My APP stop charging after like 2 minutes. I can hear a weird sound when this happens. I'm using baseus wireless charger... Iphone X charges with no problem

Are you using the newest firmware?

what about the others, do you experienced the same thing even with the new firmware 2C54?

Hmmm, in settings/general/about/MyAirpods it says...

A2084 model

2B588 firmware

1.0.0 hardware

Is this wrong then if so, how do I update it please?

my mophie charger flashes that theres metal on the base and cuts the charge itself i cant help but wonder if its detecting the hinge on the airpods and stopping it cause of that?

I’m having the same issue. Morphine qi charger works fine on my iPhone 11 but my AirPods will not charge. Light comes on and then goes off without charging.
