Sign in to itv hub

Have just started using apple tv. Eventually got it set up, downloaded bbci player easily but no luck with itv hub or itv player. Keeps asking for sign in but doesn't accept email or password. Ee support cant help.

When I enter them I get a message saying my id or password is incorrect. Sometimes I get the Apple TV home screen and try to log in, it skips the sign-in page and goes to a screen saying please log-in or create an account. Can't log into HBO Max on MBP So I have no issues watching HBO Max content on a device that has the actual HBO Max app installed on it for example 3 Apple TV's, iPhone, iPad but when I open up the Apple TV app on my MBP I don't see HBO Max listed in up next or anything. I go the the actual HBO Max website to log in using my Apple ID credentials and the site doesn't recognize my email and password. I follow the instructions to choose a provider but Apple isn't listed under the provider list. When I go into the settings on my iPhone and go to account information it says im billed thru apple but yet the credentials don't work on the actual HBO Max website.

How do I log on to apple tv How do I log on to apple tv+ with an iPhone using a Gmail account? I have had an apple tv for a few years but just recently switched from an Android to an iPhone. It automatically logs me in with my Apple account and asks me if I want to do a trial run but I already pay for it (as stated above). Thank you in advance for your help.
