After updating to 10.15.2 Catalina system is very sluggish, slow and unresponsive in general.
Plus Messeges app is completely unresponsive, Chrome is stuck, every click works a few seconds later and on top of these;
This is a brand new i9 32GB ram 2 TB ssd Macbook Pro
Any ideas?

Do you have any third party security or cleaner apps installed?
Have you left it to run for 48 hours til Photos and Music have finished reprocessing your media?
Shut down, boot up with shift key held down until boot had finished (Safe Mode) then boot up again normally. This will repair caches etc.

To get back to Mojave without a backup will require exporting all photos and music out of their apps to another folder or drive ready for re-importing after the downgrade. Then back up to at least two drives for safety.
Then a clean install of Mojave using Internet Recovery

followed by manual recovery of Backed up folders and re-import of photos and music.
Actually rebooting with shift did solve issues but I didn't think that would happen to a system just booted after an update and I thought that some thing wrong with the update.
BTW by revverting the update I meant from 10.15.2 to 10.15.1 but not necessary anymore 🙂
