Cant use sidecar - cant turn on airplay monitor - didnt see airplay icon

Hi there

I want to use my ipad pro 12.9 2018 with my new Macbook Pro 16 with Sidecar as an external monitor.

Im logged with same account on both devices. Both are on the same wifi and have bluetooth on.

There are several issues:

Didnt see airplay icon in menu bar

cant turn on airplay monitor (no second value just "vypnuto" whats mean off)

and didnt see my ipad in sidecar:

i was used third party app to do it with . my previous mbp 15 but this app is also not working on catalina :(

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you're running into a bit of trouble with Siderar on your MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. I'd be glad to run through a few steps with you to ensure that you're able to use Sidecar as expected.

Let's first start by making sure that we are meeting both the hardware, software, and configuration requirements to take advantage of Sidecar. Look over the "Sidecar system requirements" section in Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar to make sure that everything meets the requirements and that all related functions are turned on and configured correctly. Be sure to review the "Additional requirements" section below that, as it contains important information as well.

Yep, updating iPad to iPadOS 13 was the solution for my problem. Thanks for support!

If i can use touch screen on ipad to control its content it would be great! But for this moment using iPad as a "just" monitor fulfill my needs perfectly.
