My MacBook has recently started exhibiting issues referred to as Flexgate (screen works fine below 45 degrees otherwise multi coloured lines or black).
This is clearly a design defect as the laptop has spent most of its life on a desk and has never been damaged.
Has anyone had any luck getting Apple to take responsibility and replace this free (as per the 13” replacement)?

This is a problem worldwide and Apple should not escape from its responsibility
it’s the worst customer experience so far in my life while it’s quality vs their marketing for so called “pro” product for high end user, disgusting
They not taking any action.
I have paid 790$ for repair… :(
90 days! The connection is bad but not bad enough to go wrong that quickly!
I could never stomach that, what happens when the replacement inevitably does the same thing? Just keep pouring $800 plus in ever 1 to 2 years?
We can only hope that Apple accept that this is a defective design and repair then for free. You would hope a premium company like Apple would value their customers more
Also I brought my MacBook to the Apple store Sunday afternoon and it was shipped out, repaired and shipped back for pickup on Wednesday. That was impressive.
