I’ve only had my AirPods Pro for a bit over a month and my right AirPod has a rattling noise which originally was just when I coughed or cleared my throat and now it’s litterally every slight move it rattles. I use them primarily at the gym and it is the most annoying experience. I have disconnected my AirPods and re set them up but it’s still occurring. I don’t have the money for new ones as I’m about to start University is this something that Apple can fix?
I just experienced the same issue with my Airpod Pros too. I purchased mine in November of 2019, and they started rattling about 1 month ago.

I made an appointment with my local Apple store (appointments only right now), and they confirmed that not all of the headphones manufactured prior to that date that are experiencing this issue are covered.
They look it up based on the serial number and also run it through a diagnostic machine to determine what issues exist.
The link provided by MrBill3 shows it can be $89 per earbud if not covered or $0 if covered.
I thought the only issue with mine was rattling in one earbud only, however it ended up being present in both plus a loss of bass and mid-range sound in both as well. Turns out I was missing out on a lot of sound and there was nothing I could do to fix it (hard reset, un-pair, and re-pair, etc).
Fortunately, both of mine were covered! It's worth having them look at it so you can figure out your options.
I don’t think so because I just contacted them, the firsts time I got actual good support. This person was amazing. First time using iMessage for this, it is so much more convenient and whoever does that is so much better than most other people I’ve talked to
Same issue for me, but it was my right bud. I fibbed and claimed it was coming from both so I could get a fresh matching pair. I saw several people replace one only to have the other one start having the issue a month later. so tha same issue comes even after replacement, please give me a solution to this ?

Cooper789, you’re talking absolute rubbish. The issue described here can’t possibly have anything at all to do with the Apps that are running on the user’s iPhone because the issue occurs even when there’s no audio playing. (E.g. if a user were to cough loudly while in Transparency or ANC mode).
Listen, you are not describing the same problem. Regardless of where it starts, it will get worse. It is not limited to any apps; it does it with outside noises, speech, coughing, everything audible. There is no remedy. So far, I’ve gotten 4 months out of my latest pair, easily a record. I’m careful to not turn them up very loudly, as I have an idea the transducers may be rupturing. I think Apple knows this, because their level is considerably lower than my AirPods 2 when I change them.
We’ll see.
Clearly there is a design problem and Apple folks if they are reading this should do a global recall if they have fixed the problem .
it is rattling to our nerves to live with the constant tension that the AirPods may fail and rattle and I may have to work without them for a few weeks till Apple decides whether to give a replacement or not.
Hoping for a permanent resolution from Apple
I’m also having this issue. The rattling was so often that it would happen while walking or turning my head. Im now on my second replacement which I just received, I’m not going to be surprised if it happens again.
For future reference, if your product is still within warranty, Apple provides the postage! All you have to worry about is packaging material.

Just a quick question: for people who ordered replacements, did you order a complete set of replacement AirPods, or just the one? I have a skin on my case and would prefer not to buy a new one

Same exact issue in my left airport pro after a few months.
Same thing happening to me. Going in to get it checked today. I can physically feel something rattling around when I turn ANC on, and shake my head ever-so-slightly
I am experiencing this exact problem too. Hopefully Apple repairs this for free.
