USB-C to VGA Adapter Stopped Working after Catalina upgrade

Good day all, I have a MacBook Pro 13 (2018) that I recently upgraded from High Sierra to Catalina. Since which my Baseus BS-UC23 USB-C to VGA Adapter no longer works when plugging in VGA displays; however, the USB-A does work on the adapter. I tried changing the display resolution on my laptop but it no longer notices that an external display was connected. I tried three different monitors. Any help you can offer is very much appreciated.

I see you are having a problem with a third-party video adapter after upgrading to Catalina.

It's important to keep in mind that an adapter like that is not just changing the physical format of the connection. There is conversion and processing happening inside the adapter. Some accessories can be updated via firmware when there is an issue after a major update such as the one from High Sierra to Catalina.
