Just upgraded to Catalina from High Sierra on a 2015 iMac and now every time i reboot or startup my iMac the Script Editor & Terminal both load. This is VERY annoying and other than looking in my "Login items" (which is empty), i am at a loss on how to stop this "auto-run".

Either quit the apps prior to shutting down, restarting, or logging out, or de-select "Reopen windows when logging back in" when performing those actions.

An NVRAM Reset might be helpful: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on Mac - Apple Support
Thanks for the reply John. Neither did anything as i thought i tried those before. Now i just noticed when my POWER settings stop the Scrn Svr and blank the screen, when i wake it up its at FULL BRIGHTNESS, very annoying also. I'll keep trying other remedies & Apple restart commands to see what helps. RGK
