My iPhone X Face ID isn’t working

My iPhone X Face ID isn’t working. I’ve even reset my settings and it won’t rescan my face for setup.

I keep getting “move iPhone lower” or “move iPhone higher” with no scan.

Help?

Face ID not available iPhone 12 Pro Max Face ID quit working so I reset it. Tried to set it up again but it continually tells me to move the iPhone higher then lower and repeats. Finally says Face ID is not available. Any hints on how to fix?

Face ID not working What should I do if my Face ID is not working after updating my iphone? I tried resetting it and just tells me to position my face within the frame or move the phone higher/lower or that my face is out of view.
