"Are you sure you want to quit all applications and log out now?"

My 2019 Macbook Air (which is great), without prompting, displays the message: "Are you sure you want to quit all applications and log out now?" I don't know what I did to cause this and would really appreciate any guidance to resolve it.

Force quit application Force quit applications keep popping up every few seconds to remind me that my system has run out of application memory. It shuts down my tabs, or whatever im doing like music, shows, or work. I have force quitted the apps that its asked multiple times for a long time. According to my Mac storage I have a lot of space and memory left... I just got my Mac 2 months ago. How do I stop the application pop up from coming up? Its really annoying I just want to to stop popping up.

Force Quit Applications Hi, I'm using MacBook Air M1 2020 and there is a frequent notification in a dialogue box "Your system has run out of application memory. To avoid problems with your computer, quit any applications you are not using." Thus, I have to quit the app while working. Otherwise, the system will turn off and I have to restore the pages again. What should I do? FYI, I have the same type of Macbook but it never shows this kind of notification. Thanks.

One way to provoke this behavior would be to strike the following keys together:

Shift
Command
Q
