Switch between Mail and a New Composed Email

Apparently I find myself doing this a lot. Say I get an email and I need to follow up. I click the hyperlink in the email to follow up with said company and the new email window opens. At some point I need to go back to the email. I can use Command-tab to go back to the main Mail app and review/grab the info needed, but now Command-Tab brings me to another app I have open. I have to take the mouse, right click on mail and select the Composed email. Is there a "Command-Tab" option to just switch between composed emails and the main Mail app?

Thank you,

Shane

If you're on a MacBook, you can swipe down with four fingers on your trackpad (it's called the App Exposé gesture). Doing this will reveal all open windows of that specific app. This is much more convenient than performing the ⌘+` (command+back-tick) shortcut.

Alternatively, you can switch between Window > New message and Window > Inbox from the menu bar on top.
