Why isn’t there an option to disable autoplaying Music over bluetooth? Every time my phone connects, music starts. If I ask Siri something, it restarts. I just want to hear the directions, not get into a car accident because my phone keeps messing up and frustrating me.

Hi roseanne273,

It sounds like you have some concerns about using Bluetooth with your car and I want to help.

It's normal for your Bluetooth device, in this case your car, to send a signal to your iPhone that presses play. That command can result in playing the Music app, or whatever is current in playing.

While you can't disable anything on the iPhone that would stop it from playing, you might be able to disable this feature on your car. Check through your car's Bluetooth settings and see if there's an option to disable auto-play.

Good luck!
