Screen time says I’m on something I’m not on and never have been on

My screen time on my device is saying I was on a website called Wattpad and a Website called deadline for the same amount of time that I’m on Safari. Every time I use safari it always says I was on those websites. I have never heard of these websites in my life!

I’m worries my Apple ID was stolen or that my phone is hacked. Does anyone know why it would be showing those sites?

Hi LordOfTheRingsGirly,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you have a question about some unknown Screen Time usage, and I'd like to help out.

Since this unknown usage happens when you use Safari, you may have inadvertently accessed a website which caused this.

First, I looked up both website names, the first one is an internet community for readers & writers to publish material. The second is an online news site. Neither look to be malicious.

Next, Follow the steps in this article to Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

You can also check out the steps in this article: How to block pop-ups in Safari

Unless you provided your Apple ID password to someone, the chance that your Apple ID is compromised is slim. If you'd like, you can look at the steps in this article: If you think your Apple ID has been compromised

Or, Change your Apple ID password.

Take care!
