Collapsing folders in iOS Mail

Hi, how to collapse folders in iOS mail so that only the parent folder is visible with option to expand when you move a message from the inbox to a subfolder? There was another post about this in 2018 but I did not find the response from Apple helpful. The answer mentioned links that did not address this specific question.
