Iphone random popping noise

I have the same issue on my iPhone 7. I don’t have any social media at all including Facebook. No new apps. Nothing new at all in my phone. This popping sound is totally random, new, and annoying. So that does not solve the problem. Thanks for trying.

And how do you explain the problem for all of the people like me, who are saying that we do not have Facebook Messenger or anything like it?? I'm glad it's working on your phones that do have it. But what about ours that don't?!

I have an iphone xs. A couple of months ago I contacted Apple Support because I could not stop the bubble/popping noise from my phone, particularly if it occurred during the night. I spoke with a support person who walked me through some changes including resetting my phone. Since then maybe once or twice I have heard the same but it has stopped . Now this morning it is happening again. I would rather not have to continuously have to reset my phone to factory settings so I am hoping there is something else that can be done about this problem. Thank you.

It started happening to me right after a T**mp supporter randomly approached me and started swearing at me on fb messenger and I said some bad things about T**mp. I’d be very interested if your experiences started after something similar if it’s a governm*nt h*ck.

I’ve taken all the above recommended steps and my iPhone 8 still does the random pop...
