How to reconsolidate media later ?

Is there any way to reconsolidate the media in the project that already takes the media from some external folder ? So that they are a part of the library file and one is not bothered by some external file sources ?

That’s what the Consolidate command is for.

Select the library in the browser sidebar and open the Inspector (command-4).

Check what it says for media location. If it does not say “in library” change it.

Then click Consolidate.

Note that if there is a lot of media and it is stored in a different drive it will take time to copy it.

Also make sure that there is enough space on the drive that the library is on.
