Low memory frequency - iMac 27'' late 2015

my iMac is running very slow, even when very few apps are working.

a geekbench test showed that the memory is running at 933 MHz which is exactly half of what is should be. am I missing something here? how can I fix this?

Please navigate to the Mac App Store and download the free version of EtreCheck OR please click www.EtreCheck.com where you will find the app. Once you downloaded the free app and created the report please post it as your reply to this message.
