Whenever I try to FaceTime or take calls from my laptop, the microphone doesn't work. Even when I connect my AirPods, the microphone makes my voice sound almost-demonic. This hasn't been an issue for very long though I'm concerned this can lead to larger issues.
How can I fix this???

I understand that the microphone on your MacBook isn't working for FaceTime or when you take calls and when your AirPods are connected. I am happy to help.

If you're still experiencing the issue after performing the above tasks, then let's try Safe Mode.
