MAIL CRASHING on opening in high sierra

gents.

i am doing some digging on this and printing out some threads. some information on here from leonie and eric and linc.

anyone able to help me make sure i am doing this properly?

so far if i go to the mailData folder i only see an "accounts.plist" file?

do i drag this one to the desktop, SHUT DOWN and reboot?

in my case this happened immediately after ADDING either a DOMAIN BASED email address of a GMAIL email address in settings.

THANKS

yes. THANKS! i got on with apple help and in thinking about it i UNCHECKED the MAIL radio box for the last email address i added which i happened to remember.

so the old rule of last thing done applied here.

i then restarted mail no problems.

so then i went back and deleted the email account rather than try to troubleshoot further and will re-add when i have the time.

THANKS BDA!
