iCloud Photo Stream
The iCloud on my MacBook Air is not updating the photo stream - when I access iCloud via Safari I could see the update, but on the Mac Photo App it does not update. Could someone please assist with this please?

In Photos/Preferences/iCloud, is My Photos Stream checked?
Try going to System Preferences/iCloud (Apple ID for Catalina) and stop Photos syncing by unchecking the box. Wait a couple of minutes, then check syncing. Allow time for the sync to complete.
Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
