iOS battery drain issue resolve in 13.5

What the fish.....paying over $1000 wasn’t enough - that for a 2 months used iPhone 11 we have to pay again for the repair. Like what the **** is happening. What type of monopoly is this!! My biggest regret i switched to Apple - when Samsung is and will be the most reliable option. Anyways please do update if any more information is delivered from Apple. Thanks

It's become very clear that one poster in this discussion chain is either an Apple employee or at least overseeing the content with the authority of the forum administration. When I suggested that his posts were not helpful, my comment was IMMEDIATELY deleted "anonymously" by the forum. I will seek my answers elsewhere and leave discussons.apple.com to be the propaganda machine it was obviously set up to be. If I come across any real assistance in dealing with this issue I will come back and post a link in this discussion.

Well let’s not celebrate too quickly lol but am going to see how today goes as this will be the first day that I started with an actual 100% battery - so will let you know if it lasts like it used to - as the norm is to be out of power by lunch 🙄since 13.5 - not doing the next update

I also updated to 13.5.1 as soon as it came out. And honestly that is when the issues started on my iPhone 11 pro max. Weirdly none seems to work except my iPhone charges from 15% to 75% strictly during 2am to 4am period. I’ll

be getting rid of all if my current Apple products (selling them), since Apple doesn’t give a shiz about their products after release. I have never seen such an unprofessional brand renowned brand. Anyways i’m using all my power to contact all leading tech giants and famous tech influencers around the globe to enlighten them about Apple’s behaviour in regard to this (or to almost) all related issues.

I was in Best Buy with my husband who purchased a new a Fitbit. I asked there about the battery draining issues and they told me in was due to the processor not being as fast as the newer models. Has anyone researched this? Thank you!

I updated to the 13.5 and my battery on my iPhone xs drains ever since, would resetting all settings help the battery life or should the 13.6 update help out this problem?? It’s really annoying how all bc of one update the battery drains on a new phone!!

I do hope so but I guarantee this may happen again - my daughter used to work in mobile phone shops years ago and she said it was quite common that after a couple of years one of the upgrades would set off a decline of iPhone performance - this way people would have to update to a new phone - I know Apple were trouble quite recently because it was found that they did do this.

i pray that 13.6 will be the answer but for now since I did what you suggested Fahadnm I have a phone that holds its charge effectively- although I still haven’t done any of the new updates - my last one was 13.5.1 🙄

BUT ... I Highly recommend everyone ***NOT TO UPDATE*** to 13.6 once its officially released and wait for IOS 14 to be released officially and then upgrade your devices.

Well it appears it’s being used for something other than optimising the battery - as how else can you explain the difference it has made to my mob since I did those things!

its up to you if you try it or not - but I wanted a usable phone and being stuck with it plugged in all the time wasn’t working .

I saw this article about how iOS 13.6 is causing even worse battery draining issues. There is a suggested fix, but it might be good to avoid this update. The article suggests it may be from Bluetooth or network settings, which has been my suspicion. I think it's a flaw from the contact tracing app they have even though it's may be not connected to anything at this point. Others have disagreed with this theory, but I'm going to hold off on this update.

Hey dude me too initially no problems though, but after a few weeks, i realized the battery life is not good every 1% drop when I am on WeChat voice calls or scrolling through Facebook and Instagram feeds!

I got this phone on 21 July 2020, it was alright then but ever since after a few weeks, the disappointment with battery comes... is yours like that as well?

I don’t think any of us will get any improvement until iOS 14 and even then I am not convinced .

my phone is behaving but it’s never going to be like is was because of these updates - I feel robbed I guess we all do !

Switch to Samsung NOTE10+... while knowing it will be nightmare to do as I been using iPhone since 2006 and all data ... Ugg!!!
