I’m having the same issue. Music business. Just bought a new computer excited to get back to business and then this. Can’t download logic or protools. Been waiting a month to get this new build and I finally get it today and apple is playing games... UPDATE PLEASE!!
having the same issue for the last day or two on a late 2013 MBP, hopefully it gets sorted from apple's end soon - can't run catalina due to specialised scientific software, so hopefully they can help us Mojave users out and patch an update asap!!!
Being on the phone with Apple for a while. They've been extremely helpful, but they don't know what's causing this issue yet. For me it started before the upgrade to 10.14.6, so I'm sure it's not the update. I will post again once I have new developments.
Same here. Unbelievable, every tool from Apple is a complete disaster, particularly developer tools (just see the ratings there). Yet they are beyond annoying with every single developer´s submission, always with much better apps than theirs
[1] Signed out of iTunes and App Store and made sure to quit both apps.
[2] Deleted caches
cd ~
rm Library/Preferences/com.apple.storeagent.plist
rm -rf Library/Caches/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate
rm -rf Library/Caches/com.apple.storeagent
rm -rf Library/Preferences/ByHost
chmod 755 Library/Cookies
[3] Deleted plist in /Library/Security/Trust Settings
[4] Rebooted the **** machine.
Checked Console: AMSURLRequest: Failed to fetch GUID schemes from bag
NOT WORKING
This is exactly what I did: nothing and both Configurator and App store work.
Not iTunes , but that one is not doing updates since mid March
and Apple is not doing what they should. I can download iOS updates but not apps
I feel for all users who went through so many loops because Apple support suggested them to do that
I would have done it too if it was only me having the issue but when
an issue like this one is affecting so many, the reason is not on your computer
Now what? Anyone managed to get past this thing??? Anyone from Apple aware of the issue? Anyone would care to comment from there? Should we wait?
I'm also having this issue and on Mojave with a Mac Mini ... currently on live chat with Apple. Hope they can help. Everything was working fine a couple of days ago :/

Same issue here: running mojave on my 2010 MacPro 5,1. Love the machine, hate this issue! Can't download some previously purchased apps!
Same issue for me. Running OSX 10.14.6.
That's definitely not a fix. I have a couple of Apps to update and whatever I do in there, I get the same message.
They told me the same thing. "We broke Mojave, so upgrade to Catalina, some of your valuable apps are not supported though" should NOT be how Apple approaches a case in 2020.
Same issue here. I'm too in the recording business and can't risk going for Catalina. Not sure what's happening with apple store. I'll post response if I happen to talk to a living person.
Having the same exact problem! Just upgraded to Mojave 10.14.6 and was going crazy that I couldn't get anything to download.
