At least you proved 13.5 was not the problem. Something on your phone is.

The next step would be to restore your device, and setup the device without restoring a backup, to see if the issue is replicated. I would first make sure you have a backup so your data is saved.

Here is a guide for those steps:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings and see how it goes

If no improvement arrange for repair or replace

If it works well restore from backup but be prepared to wipe again without restore from backup.

I’ve noticed several things after loading the new update - I have full WiFi but I get that there is no internet connection at times - apps load very slowly - battery drains 20% in 15 minutes with all apps shut off (nothing running in background) - screens freeze especially in mail when I try to delete items - takes over 8 seconds to remove the item - in mail when I click on delete sometimes nothing happens. My battery doesn’t last longer than 5 hours at BEST if I don’t use the phone at all!

Makes sense. The model I’ve is iPhone 8 with original battery. Battery health is 96% of maximum capacity. Power drain happens both when connected to WiFi (100mbps & full signal strength) and LTE only (poor signal with only 2 bars). The amount of power drain per 10 minutes is identical in both situations.

So no, antenna is irrelevant to this.

I have an i Phone 7 and since the update to 13.5 my battery is draining a lot faster than usual. I can charge the phone and unplug it, walk away for a couple hours and when i come back i'm down 10-15 % with out using the phone for anything at all. 13.5.1 did not make it any better. My phone has had it's battery replaced by factory trained pro's at the i Phone store and currently reads that it is capable of peak performance and has 98% of its life left. Again this started the day installed 13.5. Yes the phone has been turned off and back on several times.

My iPhone 8 will go from 94% to 0% in a second, and shut down. As soon as I plug it in again the battery goes back up to 94% immediately. It's been going on for a few days now.

I read that using a beta release isn't an option unless you are a developer, so I guess 13.6 beta is out of the question for me. Will have to wait for Apple to release it to the public.

Man I’ve already DONE that, at least three times. And for the last time I didn’t even restore backup — I just started as a whole new phone and reconfigured and reinstalled all the app from ground zero, and it’s still the same. Heck my battery just dropped from 86% to 80% just writing this reply by now!

Just stop telling people to reset. It’s NOT a magic bullet that can fix anything.

It is a standard fix, call it boilerplate if you wish (which as a retired engineer I take as a compliment).

I don't need to be professional, I work for nobody. I retired 15 years ago.

If it ain't helpful for you then ignore it and let those whom it helped (and there are many) enjoy it.

Better still your actual suggestions how to actually help people sort their phones would be welcome. Earn yourself some points

PS I agree with you that cloud photos are a resource burner. I avoid it like the plague.

Thank you very much for yr kind time. Battery health is 93% in 10 months. I took to service center but after analysis they told that they found all ok and advised me to place to them under warranty. Now I am thinking to see ios 14 and place under warranty If not solve. What should I do? If they change battery will it be ok?
