When a software (gswitch/gfxcardstatus) toggles gpu back and forth does it damage the MacBook?

Hey guys, so I had an instance where GFXcardstatus just randomly decided to toggle my GPU (MacBook pro 16") back and forth every second until I had to quit my app. So I switched to gSwitch and then had another instance where an app was causing my GPU's to switch back and forth every second for about 10 seconds until it stopped. Do these constant toggling of GPU's cause any damage to the MacBook? Thanks for any input!

MacBook Pro 16", macOS 10.15
