Using mechanical keyboard with iPad Pro 2017

Can I use Lightning-USB adapter (https://www.apple.com/ru/shop/product/MD821ZM/A/%D0%B0%D0%B4%D0%B0%D0%BF%D1%82%D0%B5%D1%80-lightning-%D0%B4%D0%BB%D1%8F-%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%80%D1%8B-usb) for connect USB keyboard to iPad Pro 2017? Or, maybe, another way?

I have a great wired mechanical keyboard for my PC, and I heard that it can be connected to iPad, but all instructions talk only about bluetooth devices or Apple keyboards.

ONLY wireless Bluetooth or smart connector compatible keyboards work with iPads/iOS/iPadOS.
