problem importing CD to iTunes on MacBook Pro

Hi everyone

I'm trying to upload my CDs onto iTunes with my MacBook Pro and am having a few issues. I have been using an external CD drive to import the CDs onto my laptop. It works for a few minutes, but then an error message pops up telling me that an error occured while converting the file due to the required disk not being found. I've used about 3 or 4 different types / brands of external CD drive, yet still have the same issue. I'm also using an Apple external USB port to plug the CD drive into. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can resolve this issue?

Thanks so much for your time, I appreciate it.

Hey billie105,

I see that you're having trouble importing CDs into iTunes on your MacBook Pro.

Follow the steps under "If you have trouble importing songs from an audio CD" here: Import songs from CDs into iTunes on Mac - Apple Support. If you're still having trouble let us know if multiple different CDs are affected.

Have a great day.
