No sound at all from bluetooth connected headphone

I have paired my bluetooth headphone with this Macbook Pro. The system said it was paired. I tried to go to System Preference -> Sound, chose this device to be the output and made sure that the Mute option is unchecked. And there is still no sound at all. I am sure that my headphone (it's Bose) is fine because when connecting to my iPhone, it can produce normal sound. I would also assume that the Macbook pro is fine because it is really new. Is there something that I missed? I am no where near a pro with Macbook. Please feel free to let me know if there is something else i should check. Thank you!

Hello CrisJJJJ,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with connecting bluetooth headphones to your Mac.

Make sure your headphones are not paired to any other devices. Then try pairing using this article: Connect a Bluetooth device with your Mac - Apple Support

If you have issues, check this article: If a Bluetooth headset doesn’t work with Mac - Apple Support

If you still have issues, check the info from Bose: Pairing and connecting to a Mac® computer - BOSE

Verify that model headphone is compatible with your macOS version: Find out which macOS your Mac is using - Apple Support

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
