My iPhone XR was updated with 13.5.1 last night (6/9/2020). Since then, my screen is freezing and I cannot answer calls, scroll, etc. Very frustrating. What can be done to fix this?

I just got done on apple support, because I was having so many issues after my phone updated last night. First, make sure your phone is completely backed up, and then try restarting it normally. Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Power button until the device restarts. After it restarts, check to see if the issues have improved, and if not, you most likely will have to erase the phone and restart it with your recent backup or as a new device.

after updating my phone to ios 13.5.1 my front camera stopped working completely so now i can not use my facial recognition at all and my back camera does not work either so i have no camera at all to use on my phone what am i supposed to do here
This exact same thing is happening with my iPhone X since the update. My Face ID stopped working, and my cameras aren’t working either. They will freeze and lag, and all photos are SUPER dark. I contacted support and they said I need a new camera. But literally it’s all from the update.
i also updated my XR to 13.5.1 and i can't make or receive any calls either!!!! Funnily enough though, if i leave 400 - 500 meters away from my property i can make a call. I put in my sim in another phone and it works fine. I also put another SIM in my XR and same issue persists. I contacted my network provider and they told me the update did it. I tried to get tech support from apple but because my iphone is out of warranty i dont get support. Very frustrating! it isn't fair that an update that is released has caused this. I now have a phone that is not functioning!

Mu iPhone 7 Plus was updated with 13.5.1 last week. Since then, my network is unvailable. still no sevice untill now.
I had to go back to my 5 just to be able to have service. The 13.5.1 update apparently messes with screens that have been replaced. I hope the next update comes out quick to fix all these problems!

I updated my iPhone 6s last week With iOS 13.5.1 and started having battery drain issues. (Replaced with new battery last year). Several apps running in background and no way to shut them down. Tried shutting down all notifications, location services, and background app refresh to off. Only way to stop was to delete app. So far 3 different apps have developed this background running issue. Any would be appreciated. Thanks
After the IOS 13.5.1 upgrade I have been observing while I am on a video call and I start charging my iphone, it does not charge lets say the battery percentage is 30% it does not go up from 30% and eventually decreases rather than charging. Before the upgrade the iphone did not begave this way.Anyone else facing the same problem?
I had an initial failed upgrade to 13.5.1 due to not being plugged in. Since then my 7plus randomly reboots. I completed the upgrade, updated all apps and did a restart but the issue continues. The phone is not jailbroken. I do not have any funky apps loaded. Just mainstream run of the mill apps. Any suggestions besides complete restore?
I have had to restart my iphone 7 several times since the upgrade to 13.5.1 so that I can connect to cell service. And now it's shutting down on its own like it's out of batter but when I plug it in and turn it on, I have 87% left! There is no good time for phones to stop working, but I'm traveling this week and will be doing a lot of things away from home on my phone, so this is a particularly BAD time for my phone to have issues.
It’s very funny that I’m seeing your post about your face recognition on your camera isn’t working after the update of 13.5.1 I call apple tech support yesterday and they sure acted in a such manner as to if they didn’t know of what I was taking about so how did you resolve your issue?
My iPhone 7+ updated last night, and today I can neither send or receive phone calls successfully. The phone will ring, but neither person can hear the other. Hope there will be a fix to this soon. I restarted my device multiple times, but it did not seem to change the behavior.
Updated iPhone 6s last week to 13.5.1, been having slight problems since then. Aldi app & website wouldn’t work, then yesterday they worked. Today my screen doesn’t rotate when the phone is rotated 😡
Installed ios 13.5.1 and now my calls feature is not working. When I call someone, my speaker is disabled even though the calls is on speaker mode by default.
Even after receiving a call or calling anyone, no voice can be heard. Its a complete mess up
