com.apple.imagecapture error 704

After updating my MacBook Pro OS to Catalina, it no longer communicates with my HP Scanjet G3110. Granted, this scanner is old. But it works GREAT and I love it, and it's a crime to have to junk it because HP and Apple can't get their act together.

HP claims that they worked the bugs out with the Catalina update. But...

Anyone out there have a suggestion?

It appears you are unable to have your MacBook Pro and HP Scanjet G3110 work together, after you updated the macOS, correct? I'm here to help you take a look into that!
