Accidentally purchased an Apple store gift card instead of an iTunes gift card

My uncle accidentally purchased an Apple store gift card instead of an iTunes gift card, and I’m not from the United States...Whereby I would be able to call Apple. How would I be able to get a refund or if not receive an Apple iTunes gift card instead ?
