I'm unable to use the target display mode from my MackBook Pro to my iMac
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, mis 2015), running masOS Catalina version 10.15.4
MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports), running macOS Mojave version 10.14.6
A 2015 Retina iMac does not support TDM.
I just invested in the most expensive computer I have ever bought, an i Mac 5K, only to discover I can't display another computer on it, which I had assumed from past performance would still be possible. Why? and When will Apple offer some workaround or the like to permit to use the monitor function?
