Can no longer save email as PDF in Mail on Mac?

I usually press: 'Save messages as PDFs: Choose File > Export as PDF.' & it works. As of yesterday, it no longer works & I can't save an email into a PDF (crucial for my business). I have restarted twice & tried to look at settings, googles & looked at Apple community threads but can't find a solution to fix the problem. It feels like it should be easy but ???? I run on macOS Catalina version 10.15.5 on a MacBook Pro. Can anyone please help?

Does the PDF menu appear bottom-left in the print dialogue window at all? What options does it offer?

Same question for the Export as PDF... in File menu: is it at least available or is it grayed out/gone?

Another test: open Automator, create a Print Plugin, insert the Move Finder Items action and choose a folder destination.

Save the plugin and print in Mail a message.

The plugin action should appear in Mail's print dialogue inside the bottom-left PDF menu. Choose it: it should create a PDF in the folder destination you set in Automator.
