Answer phonecall using "Hey Siri"??

Dear all, why is it that we cannot answer phone call using "Hey Siri"??

Can't we just say "Hey Siri, answer the phone" or "Hey Siri, answer the phone call"

when the phone is ringing?

Buy a Homepod, you can do what you are looking for.

Alternatively Settings > General > Accessibility > Call Audio Routing > Auto-Answer Calls
