Time capsule backup
My time capsule started to alert me every day that it needs to do a full backup. What's up with that?

If you are saying that you are clicking the Start New Backup button and the same message appears again the next day, then it is probably time to retire the Time Capsule if it is 5+ years old.
Not sure how much time you want to spend on this, but there are a few more things that you can try as last ditch efforts before you retire the Time Capsule......but there are no guarantees of success. Post back if you want to give these a try.

What's up is that Time Machine detected that your old backups were corrupted and useless, so it needs to erase the old backups and start over again with a new backup.
Expect to see the same kind of message again in a few months or so......if you are running Mojave or Catalina on your Mac.
That's what it does, but it does this every day! Is it time to chuck it and get another?
