iPhone 11 speakerphone cutting out

I was told, when I got my phone replaced, after getting it looked at about 6 times. That if the same problem followed it will be a glitch in my iCloud and to fix it, I’d need a new iCloud so it’s a live with it kinda problem I was told - very annoying. (Yes I still have it.)

My speaker on my iPhone 11 cuts in and out when using it. I checked Settings>Sounds & Haptics for the volume, etc and all seems to be working. People I talk to on speaker phone say they only hear about everyother word,. please help

Whats crazy about all this is i can make video calls on loud speaker no problem. I can make videos and go live no problem. It only happens in voice calling. I have even used things like google calling facebook calling thats all done on loudspeaker. Really odd how theres enough complaints about this problem that they should have fixed it by now. I mean come on this many phones doing and your replacements doing it and those replacements do it how the **** cant you see you have a problem. 800 dollar phone is a POS but i can go get a android phone or my old *** iphones and make clear calls on speaker. You screwed up on the 11s ok ahould have made sure to fix it but you didnt and screwed up the 12s too. Is this what we have to expect fron apple from no on expensive broke pieces of Crap! If they get it fixed on the 11 and 12 it will be last!

Hello everybody. I cannot say “I’m glad” to hear it’s not only my problem with 11 pro speakerphone, but I am more shocked that it’s such a widespread problem.

Since 2-3 months ago I am having trouble talking on speakerphone cause person on the other side doesn’t hear me almost at all.

As my phone was out of warranty ( bought it at launch), I had all the mics replaced by a reputable shop, and surprise the problem was still there.

By chance I got a refund for the repair, but now I am “affraid” to sell my phone like this, people are gonna judge the problem and lowball me, not the time to lose precious money on this purchase. Idk what to do..? Maybe try an apple trade in?

If it was repaired with non genuine parts I wouldn't do an Apple trade-in. I really think it has to do with something with the restore. When I get around to it I'll restore my wife's phone to factory settings and sign in with a completely different account not doing a restore and see if the problem is still there. For some reason this is wide spread enough to get traction on this thread but it obviously doesn't happen to everyone with an iPhone 11 Pro.

Is anyone planning on ordering the iPhone 13 Pro? I'd be curious if the problem follows you to your new phone.

Before I had this phone a friend of mine lended me her iPhone 6s and I used it, no one could hear me on FaceTime, basically the same problem ( I already had an iCloud account from my Mac computer). I got a new iPhone 11, excited the problem would go away, restored it, and still had the same problem. Now I just found out she gave that same iPhone 6s to her boyfriend he restored it and the mic works perfectly fine!!!!

I have had an iPhone 11proMax for 2 months. Often when I am making a call, the call drops out, and random calls from the top of my contacts list begin. How do I fix this?

Me too!! Even swapped out to a new phone (same 11 PRO) and it still cuts out only on speaker setting... soooo annoying

Now I know I’m not crazy lol. Could we downgrade to the XR or something? I had no problems with my iPhone 8 at all. Get a $1200 phone and can’t speak correctly. This sucks!

I am wondering whether the speakerphone problem is related to the random dialling that keeps happening when I am making a call. This is both embarrassing and highly annoying!

Well, I’m glad to hear it’s not just me. If a bunch of other folks are having the same issue, maybe we can get Apples attention . Thanks for chiming in. Sorry you have the problem too.

wife’s new iPhone 11 Pro cannot be used on speakerphone without it constantly cutting out her speech. Has been like this since brand new - approx 6 weeks ago.

I’m on ATT also but with 6 phones in my family, all on ATT, my wife’s new 11PRO is the only one with the problem. I hardly think that supports a case for blaming the carrier!!

I am in New Zealand and have had the same problem since I bought the phone 3 months ago. Super frustrating! I’ve tried everything the techs suggest and it still happens!

Verizon and I have the same issue. I’m seriously considering going back to android. This is ridiculous.
