My girlfriend and I both have iPhone 11’s. While talking to each other if one of us is on speakerphone the other catches every other word. This happens on both phones, if I activate speakerphone she only here’s every other word and vice versa if she activated speaker phone. If you turn speakerphone off there are no issues. Is there a setting that can fix this? Is this a common issue? Thanks

I have been having the same issue for several months. Had Apple send me a new iPhone 11 Pro and ATT sent me a new SIM card and reset my network. Everything had been replaced and nothing worked. THEN I took my phone case off and it was like night and day how clearly the other person could hear me. Do you have a case on your phone? That could be the cause of the obstructed microphone sound!

I done those test and did the voice recorder with case on and off. Same result

That’s good. That seems to be consistent. The fact voice recording works with cases on means their suggestion our 3rd party cases are the issue is wrong.

Yes, removing the case was the first thing I tried. It did not help at all.
How long have you had yours? i haven’t even had mine a year yet, and I bought Apple care. Will they replace mine?

Turn your noise cancellation feature Off. Go to Settings->Accessibility->Audio/Visual->Phone Noise Cancellation
This happened to me and I got my phone replaced. The guy that helped me said, it was probably a bug in my iCloud if this didn’t work (to replace), it didn’t work!
Take a moment to read what's going on in this forum. You are not alone, but there is no help to be found. Turn off speaker phone, or buy some earbuds.
