Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My girlfriend and I both have iPhone 11’s. While talking to each other if one of us is on speakerphone the other catches every other word. This happens on both phones, if I activate speakerphone she only here’s every other word and vice versa if she activated speaker phone. If you turn speakerphone off there are no issues. Is there a setting that can fix this? Is this a common issue? Thanks

This has to be an Apple fault rather than a carrier fault. I live in Melbourne and so have an Australian service provider. Is anyone else plagued by iPhone 11 Pro Max making interrupting random calls?
Yeah, I wish I still had my X, that was a great phone. The 12 Pro Max is garbage.
Im with verizon and mine does it. Its not carrier its the **** iphone 11 defect
Technically I think it's a software defect that effects the iPhone 11 and 12 models. Several people have stated that it started after a particular software update. I forget which version it was.

It seems that if you take the case off your phone while talking on speaker, it stops cutting in and out (hearing every other word)
Unfortunately there's no resolution for it and Apple doesn't acknowledge the problem.
Take a moment to read what's going on in this forum. You are not alone, but there is no help to be found. Turn off speaker phone, or buy some earbuds.

Yes, if you mute your phone she won’t cut out at all. That shows that it isn’t a hardware problem.
Remove your case, that will fix it. Screw apples “experts,” I don’t think half of them can comprehend 1st grade math.
Same issues with the12 pro ****** me off
Did anyone find a solution to this? I found the same issue when speaking on speaker phone the mic cuts out.. any help would be good.
I don’t know if this is true but it feels like a problem with noise cancellation. We need a way to turn that off if that’s the case.
