iPhone 11 speakerphone cutting out

I turned off phone noise cancelation & this seemed to work so far for myself. It’s in the accessibility section in your settings. I tested it out on FaceTime with a friend & they said there was no issue hearing me after that.

I have the same issue but I noticed it happens when there is back round noise of any kind. What I did was go into "Settings", "Accessibility", "Audio/Visual" and then turned Off "Phone Noise Cancellation" option. I think when there is back round noise the phone picks up on that too much. This helped some but the speaker phone should still be much better. The whole point of using the speaker phone is usually when your hands are full doing something.

The case change worked. I have turned back on the noise cancelling option and with the new case, that does not cover the speaker and mic holes at the bottom, the speaker phone issue is resolved. Your experience might be different but it worked for me.

Dude, there are 1000s of people facing the issue with call volume.

No, as it has been stated several times in this thread that does nothing. The fact that me muting myself on my phone stops the person's voice on the other end of the FaceTime call from cutting out shows it's a software problem, most likely with ANC.

Same thing with my IPhone 11, I make a call, I put it on speaker phone and the other person I am talking to can’t hear me at all or bits and pieces of it. When I take it off of speaker phone it works perfectly fine and they can hear me clearly. It is a lot of money not to be able to talk to someone on speaker phone and I call bs on signal being the issue.

Looking at the date, I have to assume that this hasn't been solved yet. Which is beyond annoying and disappointing. This has been happening to my sister's iPhone 11 every time we talk for months if not a couple of years. Recently she got my mother her first iPhone and while we facetime video called together just now, it did the same thing! Other callers have pointed out the same issue when on a call with either of them.

If this hasn't already been said, the only thing that I've noticed, being on the other side, is that it only tends to happen when the receiver (a person without the iPhone 11) is talking. I have a 6s. While listening to her in the middle of a conversation, if I even do a "hmm..." or "right" or "uh-huh" or a short laugh or snort or sigh or any vocal sound- then her microphone cuts OUT, and I can't hear whatever it was she just said. Of course, this shouldn't happen.

Apple support told me to remove my case too. I removed my case and it did not fix the issue. They actually had me repeatedly repeat what I had said to them because they didn’t hear hear every word because it “broke up”. Lol. They replaced my phone and this one has the exact same issue. This is a flawed product.

I complained about this to Apple and they are sending me a replacement phone .. shall see how the new one is ..

I have Verizon so that eliminates the idea it could be carrier related.

My daughter and I are having the same issue as well. Both just got iPhone max pro 11.
