I'm having a problem with inadvertently enabling the on screen mute button while having a conversation. The mute gets activated by my cheek touching the screen

Is the anyway I can disable the on screen mute button? I have inadvertently muted several calls by my cheek inadvertently touching the screen and activating the on screen mute button. Thanks in advance

Hi Openthepodbaydoors,

It sounds like you are having issues with the screen staying on while you're on a call, and we can help.

Normally your screen should turn off if you place the iPhone up to your ear. The proximity sensor is near your iPhone receiver where you place your ear to listen to the caller.

It might be a good idea to call someone as a test and then use your index finger to test exactly where the proximity sensor is for your own benefit and be sure that's being place to your ear during calls.

Let us know if that helps.
