Apple Podcasts Not updating for some users

FYI - Apple Podcasts pages are not updating for some users.

If your latest episode was published over 6 hours ago and not showing you are likely part of this issue.

First - check your RSS feed and if the episode is live in the feed you are likely ok.

Second - Validate your RSS feed at one of these two places:

https://castfeedvalidator.com

https://podba.se/validate/

If your feed is valid and your latest episode is in the feed - then it is on Apple's side and they are looking into this issue over all.

Nothing you need to (or can) do - but NOTE - Anyone subscribed to your podcast is getting the latest episode just fine. It is only not showing on the Apple Podcasts page.

Again this is just happening to a small % of shows - and it is across all Podcast hosts. But if your show is one - feel free to post your RSS feed URL and your Apple Podcasts URL below. That will give Apple more to look at.

Apple just said it is fixed - and anyone not seeing their latest episode and have not published anything new since August 7th - should go into their Apple Podcasts Connect account now and click on "Refresh Feed" and their show should then update "shortly" - which I guess means 1 to 3 hours?

I would recommend - if you are not seeing your latest episode regardless of when you last published an episode (outside of a <6 hours ago) - just go in and click on "Refresh Feed" in your Apple Podcasts Connect account.

I'm having this same issue. Is there another issue on Apple's end? I've validated my RSS feed is working correctly and refreshed my feed, but it's still not showing up. Episode 30 of my podcast is showing to subscribers, but not in Apple Podcast

There is only one episode in your feed and it's showing in Apple Podcasts 'Browse':

New episodes don't appear immediately in the iTunes Store/Podcasts 'Browse'. It can take up to two days - very occasionally more - for a new episode to appear, so you've done well as it was posted less than five hours ago. iTunes caches the feeds and visits them in some sort of rotation, so how long it takes depends on where you are in the cycle when you post.

When I validated my podcast link it says: FATAL: Cannot find feed URL from Apple Podcasts listing. Did not finish feed tests.

I don't know. Two weeks seems to be not unusual but I don't have any definite information and in any case it's likely to depend on how busy they are.

I know this thread is a bit over a month old but this has just started happening to our new podcast. It's showing for subscribers but not for anyone else. The feed also appears to be fine on all other platforms.
