Overview connectivity

Usually I connect to this board through the Apple/Overview/Support >macOS Support sequence.

All of a sudden I get this 'Apache Tomcat/6.0.39 logs' notice:

The same happens when I select User Manual, Specifications and Hardware Support. The work around is going to Service and 'Check my service and support coverage status'. My question is if I should be concerned about it since there is obviously a link missing and reinstall the OS, or wait until there may be a 10.15.7 update.

Right now this is the last update I will be able to do with a late 2012 MacBook Pro.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Oh, okay, interesting. Does it have the same result when booted to safe mode? (Starting your Mac while holding Shift):

If it’s normal in safe boot? What apps do you see in System Preferences > Users and Groups > Login Items?

Just a hunch, if so, or not, in safe boot, if you created a new network location/reboot does the same thing happen? (Next to location: select the drop down menu > edit locations > + sign > Done Apply (On the bottom right):

If you cant test with another network or mobile hotspot, can you disconnect you modem/router from power for 30 seconds, reconnect and try again?

Possibly, and even easier, (If you haven’t already), I’d probably reset the firmware, (SMC and NVRAM), May not be related, but worth a try and only takes a minute!

Reset SMC:

Reset NVRAM:

I’m curious time see the results of those steps, but either way, hope it gets sorted out!

I did all of that and after a App Store re-install there was no change. I went through Safe boot, SMC anf VRAM again. Today I ran EtreCheck and there was one item in the software install list that caught my eye: XProtectPlistConfigData (2128) dated 2020-08-06. I noticed the issue at that time, or the day after. I am not clear what it is and after a Yahoo search I assume it is an update check you get with an online order you place, though MalwareBytes did not flag it.

My network is very simple with a Netgear27 Modem/Router and what profiles is concerned a Dell P2715Q monitor. I have Malwarebytes running and can remember one incidence a few days ago were I didn't open a screen that didn't look kosher, though back checking with Malwarebytes nothing showed. Memory_Clean 2 was updated with Memory Diagnostic. Also Chrome was freshly installed. Etrecheck finds the system excellent.

FWIW, though I cannot replicate it it was part of Text Edit's list in the cloud. After I deleted it the original link worked again. Even going to the cloud the list is still there and Text Edit shows up wit the dot as being used I was able to get to this discussion the original way. I do not like apps running if not used and hope I can get that issue solved also.
