iOS 13.6.1 Wi-Fi network issues

I´ve been having this same problem since august 20s approx.., no cellular data, no sms, no calls (only wpp with wifi). My only temporary solution was shut it down and sometimes i could get a few minutes of cellular data and then the error showed again. The worst of all is that now ios 14 is out i cant update my phone, because there is no internet connection (my wifi has good and stable connection). ITunes doesnt work either, i keep updating it and nothing happens. Where i live there no apple stores in the country so my last option would be a licensed store.

UPDATE: I saw some people got fixed by changing SIM and i will try it. I also saw a user reported fails on the A1660 model, which is my Iphone 7 model.

Search available WiFi networks and log in manually. Or add your profile having wi fi log in details.

Reset all network setting and re configure it.

Try to connect to iTunes and upgrade through it. Might work.

I’m in Australia and have 4 phones 3XRs and 1 7+. Two of the XRs were having call problems immediately after installing the 13.6.1 upgrade, missing most calls or ringing once then dropping out and when trying to make calls not connecting/ringing then timing out, we were also suffering extremely slow mobile wifi speed. I was able to send and receive text messages OK!

so I took both the affected phones into the store to get them checked, the technician plugged one in and did a diagnostic check which returns no faults. He wanted to do a backup and then perform a factory settings restore but as I don’t backup to the cloud was going to do it myself after I’d done the backup and if that didn’t work then advise me to replace the SIM card.

So I never managed to do the backup and restore that night and then the next morning without doing anything all of the problems we were having with both phones were gone and two days later are still working fine!

Don’t upgrade to 13.6.1. It is garbage! I lose wifi connection constantly. I’m also being suddenly pummeled with spam iMessages and SMS texts, and they are passing through unknown senders box without being able to report junk as it should. Apple support has tried everything to restore my wifi stability. No other devices in the house experience this problem. Then they told me to contact my provider in both instances after 6 chat sessions. All wifi equipment has been reset. They had me restore my 11 Pro Max with a fresh copy of 13.6.1. I still have the same problems. I’ve never been more dissatisfied with Apple. Whatever you do, don’t upgrade to 13.6.1. It exhibits serious security issues with this “hole” that is allowing spam to enter Messages without abandon.

I have the same problem with cellular data from yesterday as I have updated the iOS to 13.6.1.... I can’t call nobody....it tells me no network

i think that is a problem of the iOS. I have iPhone 7

only way...back to iOS 13.6 and have to wait a new update of the iOS that solves this network problem

start using your sim on other mobile I am sure it will work and wait for an update from Apple.

I’ve been getting signal issues since the update but the worst thing I’m finding is that my phone keeps restarting....at least 5 times a day!! Anyone else finding this or is it just me? I’ve just basically had to do a full restart! Hopefully it helps.

Did The 13.6.1 update on 11 Pro and not able to connect to WiFi. It will pick up the signal, but shows no internet connected. All other devices connected and working fine, including an iPad Pro 11 also upgraded to 13.6.1. Did all the resets and doesn’t fix. Haven’t noticed an issue with cellular as some others have reported.

I have the same "no service" issue after updating to 13.6.1and my iphone 7 is model A1660. I'm on hold with Apple tech support now

I also experienced this issue with my iphone X. no cellular service after updated to 13.6.1 and my iphone now reboots randomly every 20-30 minutes. I tried a factory reset and now cannot even activate my phone over wifi. I tried chatting with apple support and they advised me that it is a hardware issue and the only thing they can offer is an out of warranty replacement. My phone was 100% fine prior to the upgrade and it's pretty ridiculous to suggest that my iphone hardware just happened to fail at the exact moment I upgraded to 13.6.1.

Yes, I went to Tmobile today and they installed a new SIM card. This didn't resolve the issue. Waiting on a replacement phone so I can send mine into Apple for repair. I did try a hard reset too...didn't work.

I have the same problem since I updated to IOS 3.6.1 both in my Iphone X and ipad. My ipad was working well when all of sudden it acted like my iphone when i updated to 3.6.1. I can no longer use our newly installed wifi (5ghz & 2.4ghz wifi). My macbook pro is working well on the same wifi, but not my new updated iphone and ipad. This is very frustrating.
