Reset Network Settings: Only network settings are removed.

  • When you reset network settings, previously used networks and VPN settings that weren’t installed by a configuration profile or mobile device management (MDM) are removed. Wi-Fi is turned off and then back on, disconnecting you from any network you’re on. The Wi-Fi and Ask to Join Networks settings remain turned on.
  • To remove VPN settings installed by a configuration profile, go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management, select the configuration profile, then tap Remove Profile. This also removes other settings and accounts provided by the profile. See Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone in this guide.
  • To remove network settings installed by MDM, go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management, select the management, then tap Remove Management. This also removes other settings and certificates provided by MDM. See “Mobile device management (MDM)” in the iOS Deployment Reference.
  • Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Same issue as others. Upgraded to 13.6.1, and immediately could not make a useful phone call. Call will not go thru, or it goes through with poor audio quality and then randomly and abruptly disconnects. Dang, it's the most basic function of the device and it doesn't work. iPhone Xs. solutions offered on this page to now have not resolved the issue.

Hi SravanKrA

Thanks for trying to help but Have done all kind of reset and it’s not working and mobile is just to surf internet and can’t connect with mobile networks seems something with new update which hinders with the network looks like Apple messed up Badly with this updated and its like they achieved their 2 trillion target and now tell us FO and ditching jokes apart Apple should look into this at an urgency.

I also am having the similar problems after the latest 13.6.1 update with my phone not receiving calls or just ringing once and then dropping out, also when trying to make calls it won’t call. I’ve tried all the recommendations but it’s useless.

Making things worse is my partner updated her phone last night and is now suffering from the same issues!

please fix this Apple as we need to be able to be called in case of an emergency.

I've been escalated twice to the next customer support rep. Now I'm on hold for a senior advisor. They are trying to tell me it has nothing to do with 13.6.1. IOS update but I know it does. I'm located in Las Vegas, NV. My husband's iphone works fine and he didn't update to 13.6.1. Apple wants me to mail my phone in and be without a phone. I run a property management/real estate business and my iphone is the main number (using an app for extensions/call forwarding). I've been dealing with this for 5 days now. uuggh....

Hi Srini

Lebara sent me a replacement sim which I activated just now but its not working on my actual mobile works fine on other basically what I understand from 4 calls to Lebara and 3 to Apple in simple terms my Iph 8 is network locked maybe which has caused this issue have an appointment with Apple on Tuesday they might help to open that network lock or something like that, and also assume there is something within new update and few network provider some network settings issue within new update which are not going hand in hand with few network provider. Learnt a lesson never dive in first until an update is out and tested. Can I ask if you can see anything on Mobile data page on your settings mine is completely blank
