Reset Network Settings: Only network settings are removed.

  • When you reset network settings, previously used networks and VPN settings that weren’t installed by a configuration profile or mobile device management (MDM) are removed. Wi-Fi is turned off and then back on, disconnecting you from any network you’re on. The Wi-Fi and Ask to Join Networks settings remain turned on.
  • To remove VPN settings installed by a configuration profile, go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management, select the configuration profile, then tap Remove Profile. This also removes other settings and accounts provided by the profile. See Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone in this guide.
  • To remove network settings installed by MDM, go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management, select the management, then tap Remove Management. This also removes other settings and certificates provided by MDM. See “Mobile device management (MDM)” in the iOS Deployment Reference.
  • Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

I came looking for iOS 13.6.1 update problems related to wifi / connectivity issues. Lo and behold! My pad and phone are both unable to hold a wifi signal. I'm adding my voice to this, just so Apple sees how many people are experiencing problems with this. This is essential to fix quickly. I rely on my mobile device for work communciation!

What cell carrier do most of you have that are failing to get cellular service?

Good Luck my phone is out for repair

now. Apple covers there 6 by having us

sign the form @ the Apple Store. If you phone doesn’t comply with their free repair protocols you will be charged.

My estimated bill sent to me from the

Apple Store via email, hold on now,

get ready, $310 for a 4 year old iPhone 7,

that’s some set they have. If that becomes a reality my reply will be

”Thanks, Keep It”, yes I own the phone.

PS my carrier is Verizon, Applevis pointing their finger in their direction.

Good Luck Everyone!!!!!

I’ve not lost signal but mine stays around 1 bar most of the time since the update. I used to be full bars or occasionally 1 less than full when at home. Restart does not help. Airplane mode on / off does not help. AND I still have apps that randomly use cellular data despite their data being turned off. I reported it one or 2 updates ago and no one takes it seriously apparently. Simply disgraceful Apple!

Apple, instead of making software more powerful and more secure, destroy worse! both the software of our phones! as well as our trust in Apple (iphone) with the last 2 updates, it would be good for Apple to solve the problems (3 days has big interruptions when connecting from wifi) to IOS 13.6.1 and 13.7. (I did everything necessary on the phone, but in vain)
