hanks, Leroy! I actually don't have the BT icon in my menubar anymore. It disappeared when I updated.
It is unclear if this was the point update for 10.15 ie X.X.6
or
if this was an upgrade to a new macOS ie Catalina 10.15.6
If it is not a hardware issue than you can try reinstalling the macOS on top of your existing macOS from Recovery:
