I have done bootcamp on Windows 10, and I cannot seem to get it to detect my external display. it is an hdmi display connected through a thunderbolt dock. I have tried using an adaptor, to no avail. I have updated drivers, tried using old ones, reinstalling bootcamp utilities, etc. none of it worked. I cannot get it to output on windows 10. it works fine in MacOS.

What is the brand/model of the TB2-to-HDMI adapter?
I think I need to clarify, the Dock has it's own HDMI port on it.

I suggest a connection with as few components in the chain as possible.
Does a 'cold' restart of Windows detect the monitor connected to the Belkin?
HDCP can be an issue. What are the available connections on the external Monitor?
There is 1 VGA port and 2 HDMI.
Do you have the ability to connect the Mac and the Monitor using the VGA connector?
I do not. I did attempt to use a different display using the VisionTek, and that did not work either, so I think it might be a problem with the MacBook
In Windows, can you run msinfo32 and post the value of BIOS Mode?
how does one go about doing this?
Is there a fix for this, like changing it to something other than UEFI?
