Why do I receive SMS messages on one computer and not the other

My work MacBook Pro receives ###-### numeric SMS messages and well as +1 (###) ###-#### numeric SMS messages as do my iPhone and iPad. My home MacBook Pro only received the iMessages that they all receive. iMessage preferences are the same on both Macs - same phone numbers/emails enabled. iMessage enabled in iCloud in both Macs. Both share the same iCloud account. What am I missing?

On your iPhone, go to Settings->Messages->Message Forwarding, and make sure the MacBook Pro is turned on there.
