iTunes Match

So if I don't subscribe to iTunes Match I can no longer sync music uploaded from cds on to my iPhone?

Turn off Sync Library (through the cloud) on the device, then see Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support and sync over USB.
