iCloud apps fail to sync

I hesitate to sign out of iCloud, because of the slow grunt-work of reload after signing back in (BTDT), but I’ll do it if it comes down to that. Meanwhile, as you suggest, I will turn off-then-on iCloud for each affected app in turn to see if it helps. Maybe (as sometimes happens with Photos) iCloud was simply overwhelmed at the time updating something. (I did install a huge PDF of a stock broker account statement PDF into Notability.) We’ll see what happens.

I toggled iCloud on and off for each app on both devices (6 apps—I don’t have that many). It seems to have done the trick. Tolerably fast sync for all.
