I’m from India and I am also going through similar problem. I am here to share my experience and observations.
I bought a used iPhone 6s in end of November 2019 with 100 % battery health (new battery) and sold it in mid June 2020 with a 100 % battery health. In those 7 months i used phone on its extreme mostly by playing PUBGM under hot indian climate. The device gave out exceptional results. Usage on iOS 13.
Than i bought used iPhone 8 in mid June 2020 with a battery health 92 % and sold it in mid October 2020 with battery health of 89 %. 4 months usage and 3 % droppage. Usage on iOS 13 & 14.
Finally, i bought brand new SE 2 on 21 October 2021 online with 100 % battery health. iOS 13.5
NOW, HERE IS A STRANGE THING I NOTICED. TILL LAST WEEK (MAY 2021) I WAS ON iOS 14.5.1 AND BATTERY HEALTH WAS 100 % AND WHEN I UPDATED TO iOS 14.6, I RANDOMLY CHECKED AND BOOM ! IT IS 97 %.
3 % DROP IN FEW DAYS.
My question to Apple is that had my iPhone SE 2 had really dropped 3 % of battery in 6 months or the actual battery health is really at 100 % but due to some bug on iOS 14.6 so, it is showing 97 % ?
If it’s a genuine bug than issue than it should be noted and fixed in upcoming software update by introducing battery calibration option similar to iPhone 11 series recently.
And if its not the case than Apple has to take the accountability to it and provide some legit solution.
I an sharing this as there are so many SE 2 users like me facing the same problem.
Hopefully, expecting to hear from Apple Support Team in this.
